My favourite part about the holidays is the launch of holiday gift sets at Sephora! I decided to pick up 3 small ones for myself. I also got a few little free goodies!

Too Faced The Sweet Smell of Christmas Mini Melted Liquid Lipstick Set

I saw this little set on Madison Miller’s Holiday 2018 Makeup video. I love buying mini lipstick sets like this because you get to try out multiple shades for a cheaper price.  Also, I’ve only ever gone through an entire tube of liquid lipstick once – Kylie Cosmetics Khlo$ because it’s my absolute favourite shade. So I actually prefer purchasing mini’s when I can.

I had never tried this formula before, but I am obsessed! These lipsticks are matte and comfortable. They’re transfer proof, doesn’t attach to my dry spots in my lips, and are easy to reapply without looking crusty. These colours are all colours I tend to gravitate towards. Buttered rum is my favourite!

Milk Makeup Meet the Fam Best Sellers set

After watching Chelsea Trevor’s Everyday Fall Makeup Routine using a bunch of MILK Makeup’s products, I decided I wanted to try out the brand for myself. I liked that they had this little bundle you could purchase with 7 of the best products in a bundle. As I mentioned in my  Sephora Friends + Family Discount haul, I tend to prefer purchasing mini or travel sized products first. That way I can give the product a good test before committing to purchasing the full sized product.

This bundle included:
KUSH mascara (which I had tried before)
Cooling Water Under-Eye De-Puffer stick
Watermelon brightening serum
Blur Stick matte primer
Lip + cheek tint
Highlighter in Lit
Holographic highlighter stick

I honestly, was relatively underwhelmed by this purchase. I like the cooling water stick, the brightening serum, and the blur stick primer.  However, I don’t know if I would go out and purchase the full size products of any of them. The lip + cheek tint and highlighters are a lot harder to use than I would’ve expected for a cream product.  The colours don’t look that good on my skin tone either.

Marc Jacobs Fragrance Daisy & Daisy Eau So Fresh Mini Set

I purchased this duo on a whim. Literally,  I was just about to checkout when this caught my eye. I have always heard positive things about Marc Jacobs fragrances. I only own a handful of perfumes myself, so when I saw this mini set I knew it would be a perfect way to try out the scent without spending a ton of money.

These are definitely mini. A little bit smaller than I was expecting. I love the scent of both of these perfumes. The one difficult thing with these, is that the flower tops are difficult to remove. There is no spray either, it is just open and meant to be dabbed on to the skin. This makes for an accident waiting to happen in my opinion. However, since these perfumes are really expensive to buy the full sized bottle, this is a great option to get to try these scents out for an extended period of time.

I decided to go with the Sephora Collection Pro Mini Flawless Foundation brush. I didn’t really care for the clutch, and I figured this can at least sit out on my vanity and act as a daily reminder that I spend too much money at Sephora. crying sadface. This brush is actually really soft. I don’t think I will ever use it though, just have it as more of a keepsake.

My favourite part about ordering online from Sephora, is that there are always promo codes you can use to get additional free items. This week, they were offering a Beauty Sample Bag with a $50 purchase. There were two options you could choose from: Daring Destination or Up-In-The-Air essentials. Each sample beauty bag came with 7 products.

Will you be picking up any Holiday sets this year? Which ones should I grab? Let me know below XX
