It has been A LONG time since I have done a solid Sephora haul. 1) I’m a on maternity leave ie. a fixed income. 2) I haven’t really had time to wear makeup 3) I’d much rather buy baby clothes?? But I was about $150 away from maintaining my Rouge status so Connor told me to go for it. He didn’t need to tell me twice!! I’m excited to share some of the items I purchased. Kassie’s Korner did start out as a beauty blog after all. But since I’ve unsubscribed to BoxyCharm, it’s a lot harder to make beauty related posts.

Note: This blog post is a long time coming. I ordered my package before Christmas and it didn’t arrive until after we had left for our Christmas vacation. Then I needed to take the time to actually test out the products. And I was a little too dark after returning from Jamaica to actually wear the concealer/foundation for a bit. Whoops!

MORPHE Continuous Setting Mist

This was a re-purchase. I ran out of this a long time ago and have been meaning to get around to purchasing another. I LOVE this setting spray. Not only is it affordable, the continuous mist makes for super easy application. Plus – it does the job and makes my makeup stay in tact for a long time.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Best Brows Ever Kit

I was SO EXCITED when I went in store to pick up a Christmas present for my sister and I saw that they had these in stock! They had been out of stock in my shade every single time I’ve tried to purchase one online. I recently ran out of my Benefit Precisely My Brow, and I prefer ABH’s brow wiz. It was just out of stock in my shade the last time I went to restock. I also really wanted to test out the DIPBROW Gel, but I didn’t want to purchase the full size only to be disappointed – so this kit was a great deal. I absolutely LOVE the DIPBROW gel. It’s perfect for when you don’t have time to spend on your brows. A quick swipe through the brow hairs and it will deposit some colour and make your brows look more full. I like to start with the DIPBROW gel and then go in with my pencil and define any areas.

$39.00 ($52.00 value)

TARTE SEA Aquasealer Concealer

This definitely isn’t my favourite concealer that I’ve ever used. However, it is lightweight and more on the natural looking side. I find that I can get away with wearing JUST concealer better if I use this one, and I don’t have to spend so much time blending. The colour match is also really nice, but requires some layers to hide these mama bags.

BECCA Shimmering Skin in Opal

I am obsessed with this shade in the BECCA powder highlight, so I wanted to give the liquid version a shot. I mainly ordered this to wear while on vacation with minimal makeup – but ya know, it didn’t arrive in time.

When I first open this product up, I had the most difficult time getting the actual product out. I ended up wearing a sizeable amount of it on my pants from trying a little too hard.

Overall, I actually really like this liquid highlight. I find that it blends beautifully. I just wish it was easier to get out! Since I already knew that I liked the shade, it was an easy purchase to make.

STILA Stay All Day Waterproof Liner in Jet Black

This is my new all time favourite liquid liner. I forgot how much I loved liner pens like this, because of how easy the application is. Wearing just a little bit of liner really opens up your eyes and makes you seem more awake. Or is it just me?! My liner stayed put all day without bleeding.

MAKEUP ERASER: The Original Makeup Remover

I’m not sure why it took me so long to realize something like this existed. I try pretty hard at being relatively environmentally friendly, yet I was using cotton rounds to take off my makeup everyday.

I really like how this makeup eraser takes off my makeup. Foundation, highlighter, lipstick, eyeshadow – all comes off with a few simple swipes, just add warm water. I will say however, that it is a little bit more difficult to get mascara off. Overall, I am so glad that I made the decision to purchase this! Hopefully it lasts as long as the company claims it will – a whopping 1000 washes.

MAC Cosmetics Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15

I had purchased this in the past, but in the wrong shade. I returned it and exchanged it for the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. Needing to up my dollar amount in order to hit rouge, I figured I would give it another shot (in a better shade choice). This foundation is super lightweight and has a natural finish, and buildable coverage. My main complaint is that there is no pump! I know you can purchase a pump separately but come on…

I needed to spend a few more dollars to maintain my rouge status, so I chose to pick up a few more Invisibobbles. I love this hair rings because I find they are gentler on the hair and are less likely to tangle.

Overall, I am really happy with my recent Sephora purchases. I have been making a point to sit down and spend 10-15 minutes on my makeup in the morning because it helps me to feel more confident. Just because I became a mom, doesn’t mean I have to give up my hobbies from before! Are any of these products on your faves lists? What are some other products I need to try in my next haul?! Until next time – XX.
